From Newborn to 1 Year Old.

Giving birth during a period of hot weather in a tropical climate can present unique challenges when it comes to dressing your baby. As a new mom who experienced the same conditions, I understand the importance of keeping your little one cool and comfortable. Based on my personal experiences, here are some helpful recommendations to ensure optimal comfort for your baby in a warm and humid environment.

Newborn (0-3 months):

3-6 Months:

6-12 Months:

General Tips:

  1. Opt for soft and breathable fabrics like cotton.

  2. Consider easy dressing such as snap or zipper closures.

  3. Avoid clothes with small buttons, ribbons or other potential choking hazards that could pose a safety risk.

  4. Dress according to the weather, dress them in layers that can be easily added or removed as needed to keep them comfortable.

  5. Keep a stock of different sizes, as babies grow quickly.

  6. Wash all new clothes before using them to ensure cleanliness and remove any irritants.

Remember, every baby is different, so it’s important to adapt the clothing choices based on your baby's comfort and needs. As a parent, you are the best judge of what works for your baby. So trust your instincts and enjoy dressing up your precious bundle of joy!
